What could you expect?
-Structured session across 6 lanes to ensure no lane rage or stress
- Technique correction with support of specific drills
- Understanding pace and using the clock to work across training zones
- Friendly supportive group to help transition to open water swimming or races
Our sessions are available to everyone, not just Coached Trilife athletes 😀

WakeUp-SwimCoach-Nap3h-Run
There was no way I could run this morning. I just about walking the dog like a zombie. Sofa, equalled a 3h nap, clearly needed the sleep.
So happy to still make it out, and tick off this weeks 1 hour 40 run. No real focus just heading out for some easy miles 🥳

Last swimming session for 2022 followed by tasty brunch. Many swimmers & athletes missed but I can confirm pancakes & eggs where eaten for all 😂

Choices--- the choices we make--- the impact our choices have--- WHOS RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE CHOICES
There have been many discussions where the sentence starts with ' I can't because....'
Are we taking 100% ownership for the choices we make in our daily lives or are we shifting this blame?
I can't because my Daughter has Swimming
I can't because my Son doesn't eat it
I can't because work is busy
I can't because I'm tired
I can't because I have a party to attend
I can't because my partner is busy
All of the above our choices we make that impact our own lives. However, ultimately YOU make the decision for it to happen in the first place. There could be a whole discussion of not being selfish, that's what you do as a parent or works just busy.
We get caught up in what we are not able to do, rather than working out what we can do, or maybe reality what we want to do?? We also live in a society where generally we have everything to hand, we have the latest kit, multiple access to facilities, tracking devices option to commute as exercise but yet we spend more time thinking about 'getting ready to exercise' that actually exercising. Then couple this with... I didn't have time....
It's sounds so simple.... but it really is..... the energy we put into thinking could be doing... the energy we put into stressing could be doing...

Toris’ fastest 70.3 swim to date!

I felt really comfortable going into the swim at Utah, really wanting to replicate some of my pool fitness into open water. Minus any open water practise in 4 months since my last race, due to logistics.
Two swims a week, every week, for months. Ideally I’d like 3-4 sessions but time doesn’t really allow if I want some sleep.
Main takeaway: The foundations are built, I know what works and with a little tweak 2023 race season swims should go well and any seconds/ minutes I gain now takes the pressure of the run.
Sub 30 i’m coming for you 😀

It’s been one awesome weekend!
Ironman 70.3 World Championships, Utah was a blast 🚵🏻♂️
Kent took on the challenge and achieved a new PB of 4hours 58. Looking back it appears he took the swim a little to easy, however his run is proving to be consistent. Marking a 1 hour 7 min improvement since he started 🥳
Tori, is holding a general performance but didn’t quite get the run she hoped for with some dodgy breathing 😮💨 5 hours 25 this time 🙃
Over the pond Ryan took on his first Marathon. Starting with 5km, half marathon, Ironman 70.3 before we move next onto an Ironman.
Ryan nailed his target time and achieved 4 hours 13 🤩

🥇 Wi******er 10km 🥇 1st Lady
Last minute entry for Winch 10km, with a goal to dig out the race shoes and run a tempo 10km. Not realising how hilly the course was going to be.
2-3km in and oblivious to the cyclist next to me until he said ‘ keep going your close down 1st lady’ 🙉 I though he was joking but realised that was the moment to commit to the finish line.
Ran super consistent.

Amazing to see so many familiar faces out on courses!
Big take away to share with you, is CONSISTENCY in training really pays off!
Training shouldn’t be about smashing every sessions, always progressing weights, pushing speeds etc.
