Merry Christmas everyone. We thought we’d share an early Christmas present this Christmas Eve. We had the immense opportunity to see the on its first days Driven shooting.

There’s a full write up available on our website now but in short, the Grenadier was absolutely fantastic.

Flanked by Range Rovers (new and old), Defenders, Discoveries and a Pingzauer. The Grenadier didn’t put a foot wrong.

Even in prototype format we were beyond impressed with how quickly it settled into the day. So grab a mince pie and have a read!

Amazing news today as we see Fieldsports exempt from further COVID legislation. After last weeks uncertainty this is brilliant news. Considering the lack of contact at a shoot anyway it seemed sensible but to have this in stone is a relief for many I’m sure!

Exemption to ‘rule of six’ cover shooting, trail hunting and other rural activities The Countryside Alliance has released a statement on the recent exemptions given to the new 'rule of six' which covers rural activities.

Sunday’s news may split the shooting community into two groups.

Some will say the season will be on hiatus untill the law on gatherings is lifted whilst others will suggest that we are exempt via the organised team sport aspect of the legislation.

Based on the new law from Monday do we fall under “organised team sport” and what do we think shoots will do? This may look like separate lunches for shooting parties and certainly separate vehicles. Depending on how this is enforced, fines are high & are for both the event organiser and importantly for each individual attending too, so potentially there is a risk. What do we think, agree it’s ok or a risk?
