🎾 A brilliant weekend for our junior padel players! 🏆

Our players were in action at the UK U18 School Padel Championships in Bristol last weekend, representing Westgate School alongside players from Peter Symonds College.

Competing against 24 schools from across the country, the teams had some great results:

🥇 Boys' team: Champions! Winning the event after a nail-biting shoot-out finale.

🥈 Mixed team: Runners-up, narrowly missing out in a closely contested final.

👏 Girls' team: Semi-finalists, after an impressive run to the last four.

Brilliant to see our Club players doing so well on the national stage. Well done, everyone! 🎾👏

Congratulations to Steve Lumley, our Head Chef, on being named Employee of the Month! 🎉

Steve joined Wi******er Racquets & Fitness in 2016 and has spent the past 10 years maintaining the highest standards in our kitchen, helping us retain our 5-star Food Hygiene Rating throughout.

From his much-loved sausage rolls and curries to buffet lunches, three-course meals and, more recently, his popular homemade cookies, Steve consistently delivers delicious food for our members to enjoy.

He's also played a huge part in developing our kitchen team, supporting and mentoring colleagues to deliver the same high standards every day.

Steve, thank you for your hard work, dedication and everything you do for the Club. Here's to 10 fantastic years and many more to come! 🙌 Congratulations, Steve!

🎾 U8 Internal Tournament 🎾

What a fantastic weekend for our U8s, with 14 young players taking part in our internal tournament with Lewis Wright!

A brilliant opportunity for our juniors to get some match experience, compete against each other and, most importantly, have fun on court.

👏 Well done to everyone who took part, and a big thank you to MSEL Services Ltd for supporting our junior tennis!
