Little de-tour on the way home from Wales.
Always wanted to visit Chedder Gorge and it didn’t disappoint! Didn’t have time to do the full circular trail but we had a little wander along the one side and we’ll definitely come back to tackle the full loop.
Have you been? What did you think?

🏔️ Happy Everest Day 🏔️
29th May marks the 73rd anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay becoming the first people to summit Mount Everest.
The legend of Everest is both magical and mysterious. I was fortunate to spend some time on the North side of Everest a few years back and it’s even more spectacular than you can imagine along with being more dangerous than you would like to know.
It has received mixed coverage in recent times with the infamous queues at the summit but having personally scaled to a height of 6500m up this beautiful mountain, anyone who makes it to the top will have earned it the hard way.
The Nepalese and Tibetan communities that live off the mountain are incredible people and deserve the upmost respect from anyone who travels to their homeland.
Mallory, Irvine, Hillary and Norgay are some of my adventure heroes and after visiting Mount Everest, it only heightens their status as pioneering legends from a time when they had no rights to do what they did. Tonight I will raise a glass in their honour.
