Working on his TT fit, changing the extensions and pads for more support and control whilst staying within the UCI regs. A good fit isn't always static, changing with your fitness and adaptation, among other things. And what looks or feels fast isn't always so, but there's often surprisingly low hanging aero fruit to be picked up.

First impressions: the frame does everything simply yet beautifully. Responsive without being harsh, composed handling and excellent build quality. The GRX shifting is snappy and unflappable, and the ergonomics of the Shimano levers are unmatched. We really like the shape of the AGX bars as well, with just the right amount of flare/drop and divots on the top/hood interface for the aero-hoods position.

Is there better value on the market? Yes. Would downtube storage be nice? Also yes. But if you want to cover massive miles in rapid comfort and unbeatable style, then the Rave is hard to beat.

This Speedmax originally came to us last year for a quick pre-race service. We asked the customer if they were aware of the stem/fork recall - they weren't - and inspected the steerer finding both delamination on the top from where the stem had clamped an unsupported section and ring-of-death-esque damage further down.

Initially Canyon just sent out a new longer expander plug, but after a bit of back and forth, sent a whole new fork, which is now on the bike.

Regardless of recalls, it's a good idea to periodically inspect your headset and steerer situation from time to time to make sure there aren't any nasty surprises hiding somewhere in this very critical area.

At Exo Inc. we absolutely love stems routed through headsets and stems and strongly believe that all manufacturers should do it and consumers should settle for nothing less. It definitely makes us happy when we get two of them back to back - particularly when we get an excuse to fire up the 3d printer.

P.S. It does look neat, though.

With the incremental weather a lot of you might still be using your indoor trainers for structured workouts - and sometimes they might start making grumbly sounds. But we can fix that.

Bearing replacement on a @ Kickr - indoor sessions are never going to be silent, but they'll be quieter now.

It's a Monday, but please don't be a danger to yourself and others - replace brake pads on time! And definitely don't spray WD40 on them to silence them.

While the Rally power pedals *are* serviceable, the bearings are not *officially* replaceable...but we like to repair things rather than throw them away. Two new bearings and the pedals should be spinning smoothly for a while now.

Preventative maintenance does go a long way towards avoiding this sort of scenario, though.

Rusted chainstay bridge situation on this Brompton - rusted bits removed and the remainder cleaned to fit a new tube in. This Brompton should keep on trucking for another 20 years now.
