Back in the saddle and full of beans!

Yesterday was an epic day in both meanings of the word. Roads closed meant late starts and longer walks. The route was hard (for us), we had to aid some of it and we should have moved quicker, the abseil route off was hard to find and I ended up abseiling over an overhang and was just dangling a few hundred feet above the scree and I had to prusik 48m back up the rope using 60cm slings as prusiks. It got dark, the ropes got stuck while abseiling off and worst of all we NEARLY missed closing time at the pub!

Yesterday was an epic day in both meanings of the word. Roads closed meant late starts and longer walks.
