EMOM stands for "Every Minute On The Minute". You will start an exercise at the top of every minute and once the reps are complete, the remainder of the minute will act as your recovery.

We wanted to let you all know about an event called, โBattle Cancerโ. It is a hugely popular event and they have personally invited Gas Station Fitness & Nutrition Members to get involved!
๐ชThe event is taking place September 14th at the London Olympia. Heats start from 9am, with event close at 5pm. Heats are every 9 minutes so you can choose a time that suits you!
๐ช The challenge itself is new this year, 90 minutes max reps work (5 mins on, 4 mins off) across the workout.
๐ช The โBattle Cancerโ team is asking a minimum of ยฃ200 raised as a team of four for your chosen charity, and every ยฃ raised for any cancer charity is extra points on their team score on the day. So more fundraising, higher scores!
๐ช For any gym that brings 5 teams or more, they will print a personalised community flag and have a designated area in the event along with some more freebies from their partners in the area.
๐ช Each athlete (up to 2 weeks before the event - due to print deadlines!) gets a free athlete tee and then everyone gets some free stash from Moju, Tenzing and for taking on the 90 minute challenge! They have ice baths, an epic fitness shop, live music, finishers photo moments and loads more!

On Sunday 11th August our members can attend Seminar Sunday with Coach Joe. The focus of the seminar will be on the sn**ch. This is an opportunity to improve your technique and perhaps go for a personal best.
The sn**ch is an Olympic lifting movement. It starts with the barbell on the floor in a deadlift-like position and by the end of the movement the barbell is in the overhead position.

If you see RX in a workout description, the definition is "as prescribed". This means doing the workout as it is written. If you complete the RX of a workout then you have completed it using the set amount of weight and reps.

The term AMRAP stands for '"As many rounds as possible". It is a type of high intensity workout that challenges you to complete as many rounds or repetitions of a chosen set of exercises within a specified time frame.
One of the best decisions I made joining this gym 18 months ago to kick-start my fitness journey again.
And that's because it's all about the people and community at the Gas Station Windsor. The welcoming atmosphere and the encouragement from both the staff and fellow gym-goers make it a great place to achieve your fitness goals and stay consistent with your training, while having fun and pushing you out of your comfort zone !

Whether it's a hotel gym, a staycation, or on the beach, you can carry on your fitness journey. All the workouts are part of the NCFIT collection and focus on bodyweight conditioning with minimal to no equipment.

After being consistent in a local gym, Cara came to us with the aim of really wanting to shake things up with the goal of challenging herself.
