After introducing all our big characters at schools and festivals, we discovered that the children love to match the characters to their yoga mats and blankets!
So I had an idea to make a more portable version for little yogis to play with to go along with the book!

It’s story time! We are going to be performing our latest book ‘Don’t Be Grumpy, Monkey!’ featuring the song Sa Ta Na Ma live! Come and join us for yoga, story time and chanting. Get ready for giggles, gasps, and heart-warming moments!

It looks like our six little yogis have jumped out from the pages of our book and onto their very own yoga mats, ready for Happy Panda’s real life yoga class! You may have followed my journey making these little Guys from material buying in Goldhawk Road to final photoshoot with author and Happy Panda herself It was quite a challenge to keep each character looking exactly like they do in the books, but are overjoyed with how they turned out and can’t wait to share them with you in our upcoming school visits and live yoga events coming up this year.
Hello everyone, Happy Panda here (Snezana Danilovic), I am the author of ‘Don’t Be Grumpy, Monkey!’ and ‘Yaks Can Do Yoga!’ and, I am also a children’s yoga teacher. I teach and coach yoga for local schools in Windsor.

We are best known for our book series, which includes ‘Yaks Can Do Yoga!’ and “Don’t Be Grumpy, Monkey!’
We are proud to support and work closely with local school sports partnerships and networks delivering our wellbeing programs to local schools.
Over the past four years, we have visited and worked with numerous schools and nurseries in Windsor and the surrounding area. We have brought exciting yoga classes to afterschool clubs and PE lessons, introducing yoga and mindfulness to hundreds of children, teachers and their families.
We are passionate about what we do, our aim is to bring yoga to many more schoolchildren and teachers around the UK.
Yoga is a timeless skill, and teaching children how to use mindful and wellbeing tools will enable them to live healthier, kinder, and more balanced lives.

Back to school! Thrilled and delighted to be offered this teaching opportunity by SSSN (Slough Schools Sports Network) at Penn Wood Nursery and Primary School in Slough. The children loved their first yoga class. Wonderful children and teachers and looking forward to the next two terms.

Fantastic last term of after school yoga classes at 🧘♀️😀❤️
We had so much fun together enjoying breathing, yoga poses and the ever favourite partner poses and games.
During the last few weeks of term children are always very tired. They would arrive at the class and flop on the mats straight away .
It’s been wonderful seeing students find their own way, finding what feels good for their bodies. 😊
When children have space and opportunities to explore relaxation and mindfulness they intuitively find what they need to naturally become more relaxed , calm or energised.
