Walks straight into the gym & heads to the treadmill to warm up... Out of habit? Comfort zone? Lack of knowledge?

Purpose of a warm up❓ To prepare your body for your session, lowering your risk of injury⬇️
▪️ Increase blood flow to the area's of the body that you're working
▪️Prepare the nervous system for powerful muscle activation
▪️Elevate core temperature
▪️Prepare muscles & joints by performing a similar range of movement for what's to come with less force

Hitting the gym for an Upper body session❓
Instead of wasting 5 mins on the Treadmill, venture over to the Rowing machine & get those arms & back working a little harder 🛶
