Emergency first aid at work course.

One day accredited First Aid Course (First Aid Industry Body).

All of my First Aid qualifications are delivered via the FAIB who are
recognised by the Health & Safety Executive and the Department for Education/Ofsted.
My courses are inclusive of the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work in line with the Health and Safety Regulations 1981.

The aims of the qualifications are to enable learners to attain the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of the first aider.

There are no formal entry requirements in order to benefit from the learning.
I offer First Aid Training courses as a much less expensive alternative to the leading national providers. Training can be delivered onsite for courses containing six or more participants.
Alternatively, a day rate can be agreed for those requiring an onsite course for less than six participants. All courses contain AED training.

An incredible two days, I’ve met some incredible people and had an awesome time.

So many people to thank for the experience over the past couple of days (probably impossible to be honest…)

But most definitely WUMA World HQ, Richard Hopkins, Baz, Paul Macarthur, David Hipgrave, Paul McVey. For making me so welcome.

My role, along with these other individuals was to support, encourage, console and celebrate with these incredible young people to the best of my ability and experience, I’m happy now, at the end I’ve done that.

Congratulations to everyone involved and to the lovely people of Argos for making us all feel so welcome! 🙏🏻❤️🇬🇷

Hi guys, a reminder that this Thursday, that’s Thursday, the 16th of February, is assessment evening in the Kali Class.

We will be running from 6 pm to 8 pm .

If you’re not intending to be assessed, you can still attend no problem at all, and if you can only make the usual time of 7pm till 8pm (which is the normal time) that’s okay too!

If you have a pair of boxing gloves, it would be handy if you could bring them with you no problem if not!

The next Kali assessment evening will be February 16th.

The session will run 6-8pm

‘Carenza’, is a form of shadow boxing, used for solo training in Kali, and requires self-discipline, visualisation, and creation

On achieving Level 1 in our FMA programme, our students perform a carenza in front of their peers. It’s usually performed to music or to the rhythm of clapping escrima sticks, and is unscripted, just like shadow boxing

This instils confidence and explores personal expression, whilst paying homage to this ancient warrior battle art

December Timetable for Ian’s Classes 2021

Classes will run an adapted timetable up to and including Saturday 18th December. We then close all classes and re-open at the Windsor club on Wednesday the 5th January.
Junior sessions on 15th 17th 18th December will be the usual fun and games sessions (Including the legendary Dodgeball) We involve large amounts of treats and chocolates (may contain nuts).

Adult sessions of both Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th will be Mixed Martial Arts – Ju Jitsu, Kickboxing, Kali, Silat. Both sessions will be 7-8.30pm

Other Instructors will have a different timetable, please check with your club instructor.
