Welcome to Windsor Velo' - a cycling club based in Windsor, Berkshire.
Operating as usual
Another cracking club ride.
52 miles with 10 members of the club to The Cheese Shed and finishing back at the local. Good pace throughout with ideal weather conditions. 1 puncture before the ride even started, an exploding inner tube at the brewery and the nosiest bottom bracket which I felt could be heard for miles. One for The Bike Company in Windsor to work their magic.
Great club ride this morning. 52 miles into the Chilterns. 2 punctures and a celebratory birthday pint at the brewery for someone’s big 60
Great club ride this morning. 9 of us out into the Chilterns for a 52 mile ride. 2 punctures later and back at the brewery for a celebratory birthday beer for someone hitting the big 60.
6 hardy members of the club out this morning on the wettest, coldest, windiest summer club ride ever. Well done everyone who came out today.
Great turnout today with 13 members split into 2 groups cycling into the Chilterns. Fantastic weather and a few beers to finish off at the brewery.
Cold wind, cold rain, 3 riders getting punctures. We even called upon the Finnish god of weather who made the rain stop and dry us out.
Great club ride this morning. 14 members out for a thoroughly enjoyable ride into the Chilterns.

Hi All, as the bank holiday approaches we would just like to remind everyone of the situation we are facing. The Injunction below is still being sought by the Council and unfortunately we have had no more clarification from RBWM regarding this. The situation is still critical for us. Thank you for all your respect so far and we would like to ask again that everyone PLEASE RESPECT ALL THE RESIDENTS OF WARREN ROW AND BE POLITE AND COURTEOUS TO ALL OUR NEIGHBOURS. Further more can everybody please adhere to the signs that are onsite at all times. Thanks again for all your support!

It appears that RBWM have not changed their stance on clubs stopping at Velolife at all and yesterday's "constructive" meeting was just a PR exercise.

The attached letter does nothing to clarify the situation regarding cycling clubs using Velolife in Warren Row. It appears to say that we can use the cafe so long as we don't stop there...
Cycling café says its ‘existence hangs in the balance’ as council bans cyclists from meeting outside - Cycling Weekly The owner of a cycling café near Reading says its existence “hangs in the balance” as the council have banned cyclists from meeting outside.
We have still not heard anything clarifying RBWM’s position since they “banned” us from stopping at Velolife during rides.
Council hits back in Velolife cycle cafe row – cyclists CAN use cafe insists statement… they just can’t “meet” there or congregate outside Windsor & Maidenhead council says cyclists can use Velolife – they just can’t "meet" there, or congregate outside – so what exactly is a “cyclists meet”?
