Have you ever thought about learning how to windsurf? Now is your chance.
We have a RYA Start Windsurf Course running this weekend 30th + 31st July, 14:00 – 17:00. This course teaches you all the essential skills and, on successful completion, allows you to come to the lake to hire equipment and join our Saturday morning windsurf club.
This course is £180 per person which includes all your equipment.

Bray Lake Watersports will then be closed over the Christmas period to give our staff a well deserved break to recharge our batteries ready for 2022.



The lake will be re-opening on Tuesday 4th January 2022.

As we head into the Winter season we want to ensure that we are holding accurate medical information for our customers.

We are kindly asking that anyone planning to use the lake over the winter period who has a medical condition that can be exacerbated by cold water send us an email so that we can update our records.

Conditions we need to be aware of include,
• High Blood Pressure
• Asthma
• Diabetes
• Heart Conditions
• Or any other condition you think we should be aware of.

For anyone using the lake over winter we would strongly recommend that you have an ECG check. These are available through Check Your Beat Sports ECG’s who offer checks at the lake. Book in your ECG check by contacting Natalie and Nigel on 07701 093973 or email them at [email protected]

For those swimming this winter we are also holding another cold water swim talk on Sunday 5th December at 10am. This is designed for those new to cold water swimming or experienced swimmers wanting to refresh their knowledge of how to swim safely at this time of year. This session is free of charge but due to limited places you need to pre-book your space online.

We are running a RYA Start Windsurf Instructor Course this October Half Term 25th – 29th October 2021.

This 5 day course is £349 per person and we also offer RYA First Aid, RYA Powerboat Level 2 and RYA Safe and Fun courses to ensure you have all the pre-requisites.
