If everyone around you is doing something and they're helping you to do that something, it's much easier for you to do it too.
Surround yourself with like-minded people and you will find it much easier to succeed when working on improving habits that lead you towards a goal.
👨👩👧👦 If trying to lose weight, consider your family members - can they jump on board a healthier eating regime with you?
🤸♀️ If trying to start an exercise habit, why not join a group class where community is as important as the exercise itself (such as Beautcamp 😊)?
Environment matters so make sure its's supportive, not discouraging ❤
I've known Laura for many years. I first met her at my Beautcamp classes, which then led to Personal Training together.
We continued working together during her second pregnancy (Laura was still training the week before she gave birth 👶) and in February this year she returned at 10 weeks postnatal for some online coaching with monthly reviews and check ins.
Today was Laura's first 4 week review and progress check and her commitment and adherence to the programme has resulted in not only a dramatic fat and inch loss, but a MASSIVE mindset change to go with it.
As a result of Laura's hard work, she has lost the following in just 4 weeks:
👊 3.6kg fat loss
👊 10.25 inches
To say I'm proud of Laura is an understatement. She's a full time mum to two under 2yrs, is struggling with sleep deprivation and often energy levels are at an all time low. But by making small, manageable changes, she has had an outstanding result in a very short space of time.

"Having two under two, it’s hard for me to find time to do anything! However every day I’ve just tried to make healthy choices. And it doesn’t always work - there are days where I haven’t had a minute to use the toilet never mind cook dinner so we have a takeaway, but I don’t get bogged down in that and just try better the next day. Trying to fit exercise in is perhaps even harder but on Louise’s recommendation I’m trying to aim for just 5 minutes a day and anything more is a bonus. Knowing Louise is always there when I need a little pep talk and to keep me on the straight on narrow has been such a help and I’m hoping to achieve a lot more under her expert guidance!"
Well - it does for me because I'm rubbish at it. I'm rubbish at it because I don't enjoy it and therefore I don't try to get better at it. I struggle to regulate my breathing and I'm much happier chucking weights around in my gym 🏋♀️
But - we can all benefit from getting outside our comfort zone and trying new things. So - thanks to the inspiration of some of my clients and Beautcamp ladies, I've downloaded the Couch To 5k app and resigned myself to getting better at running over the next 9 weeks 👍
Now - I know I can run 5k when made to do so (I'm looking at you ) but I'm uncomfortable for the majority of it and terribly slow. So my aim is to get better at it and maybe even enjoy it along the way! 🤷♀️
It'll also help get my KM's in for my February Footsteps Walking Challenge for this month! So win-win and extra accountability 👊

Happy Hump Day! Hope that you’re all getting through the first week back after the Christmas and New Year celebrations 🥳🥂🎉
To help you chase away those January blues, I’m delighted to send you the details of our next Beautcamp Social Event… our New Year Night Out 💃🏻👯♂️
For those of you who are new to the group, firstly welcome 😊; and secondly, these social events run on a regular basis to get us all together for a fun night out, so we hope that you can join us. If it’s not possible to come along on this occasion, please don’t worry, there will be plenty more nights out to look forward to during the year 🤩
We normally offer a choice of restaurants for our nights out, but this time, we’ve selected the restaurant in advance. Over the past couple of events, several people have mentioned the Italian Concept restaurant in Egham, so our New Year Night Out will take place there (subject to availability on the night we select) 👨🏻🍳
As the name suggests, the restaurant is famous for its Italian fare, and gets wonderful reviews both online and from the people we know who have been there for dinner 🍝🥫🍷 You can see more information on their website at:
I have created a Doodle poll with four available dates. The dates have been selected so our night will take place after the New Year Training Challenge... so no temptation for those of you training so hard 💪🏻🤛🏻 Please click on the link below to view the dates, and select those that would be most preferable. Dinner will be booked at approx. 19:00 on the evening of the date selected. For those ladies who wish to avail of taxi transport, I will gather names in advance, and book taxis to collect us from Windsor town centre and bring us out and back (departure time approx. 18:45; taxi fares will be shared among the group travelling).

Thank you again to everyone who has participated in the recent Doodle polls for our Beautcamp Christmas Celebrations. I am delighted to report that the final tally has been taken for our restaurant choice, and the location with the most votes is Lebanese Nights 💃🏻
Before I make the restaurant booking, I would like to ensure that the final numbers are correct. So far, the following ladies have confirmed through the Doodle polls:
