TIME CHANGE FOR SATURDAY
Hey all
As you know many juniors are racing at Hever over the Weekend.
Kevin and I are there Saturday and Sunday.
We don’t want the children not racing to miss out on training so we are offering a Saturday session 10-11.30 (prompt).
Sorry the times had to change but we have to get to Hever to support our little athletes..

Morning all! I was at the lake earlier.
Zoe who runs the desk asked me for a list of swimmers for tomorrow so she can write the list so all you have to do is pay. She will create a separate evo till. Please book on by 16.00 tomorrow to save yourselves time. If you don’t you will be in the main queue like everyone else!! It will be soooo busy tomorrow..

Bank holiday Monday!!!

As the lido will be closed evo will be doing an Open Water Swim at Marlow Lake (Westthorpe) 18.15pm

Swimmers will need to fill out a waiver form on their first visit so allow a bit of time for this beforehand.

The lake charges every swimmer an entrance fee (however evo members get subsidised and only pay £3 for kids, £4.50 for adults instead of £7)

18.15pm to wetsuit up and prepare for swim entry.

We will go through all the safety stuff every time we go in the lake with the kids, we drill it into them, so please feel assured we take everyone’s safety as a priority

Parents are more than welcome to swim too.

We will only keep the children in the water as long as they are warm enough, and suggest parents get them a hot drink for after

The cabin sells hot drinks, pick n mix sweets, pizzas etc so you can make an evening of it and have adult drinks too 🍷 🍺

We have proper junior triathlon swimming wetsuits to hire for the season (we know kids grow so can swap when they outgrow) so let us know beforehand and we will bring one for your child.

Drowning Prevention Courses

Following on from the last couple of years demand and success I will be teaming up with Westhorpe Watersports offering
drowning prevention sessions again.
I have some flexibility on the times presently available, so please message me if you want to get a group of friends or school class together at a different time and date than are presently offered.
The sessions with run weekly on a Wednesday from June 5th- June 26th.

CHILDREN’S WATER SAFETY SESSIONS.

With drowning prevention week 15th-22nd June and
an ever heightened local awareness for river safety I am offering local children 40 minute water safety sessions at Westhorpe Watersports, Little Marlow.

Westhorpe Watersports fully support the importance of and need for kids to understand water safety.

The sessions will go over the dangers of Open water, equip the children with the knowledge to make the right decisions around open water, and basic life saving skills should they find themselves in a difficult situation.
25 mins land based information, 15 mins water based.

The UK’s beautiful waterways should be places where everyone feels at ease, and can take pleasure from their surroundings, whatever their age, whatever their activity. Developing confidence in and around water isn’t just a critical life skill, it’s a skill that can open up a lifetime of fun and adventure in and on the water but obviously only when it is safe to do so….
