Blaze Martial Arts is a Kickboxing and Family Martial Arts School with classes in Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell & Wokingham. We focus on a mixed martial arts syllabus comprising of Kickboxing, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Ju Jitsu, Thai Boxing and the Keysi Fighting Method. Our classes combine elements of all these different styles giving the student a far greater training experience than if we focused on just one style alone. The benefits to our members include weight loss, fat burn, increased energy/fitness, improved stamina, enhanced self esteem and confidence, stress relief (the best form of stress relief after a hard days work is punching a pair of focus pads) and of course making new friends all while learning how to defend yourself. 🏆 23 YEARS AGO I SAID MY AMBITION WAS TO: “TO TRAIN A WORLD CHAMPION.” TODAY I HAVE FOUR! 🏆
Back in March 2003, I was interviewed by Martial Arts Illustrated magazine.
In my Factfile they asked me what my ambition was.
My answer was simple:
🥋 “To Train a World Champion.”
Well… 23 years later, I have FOUR! 🥇🥇🥇🥇
What an incredible weekend for Blaze Martial Arts and Team England at the WMAC, World Championships in Austria.
🏆 Ollie – Gold, Elite
🏆 Simon – Gold & Silver, Elite
🏆 Orlando – Gold, Open + 2 Silvers
🏆 Josh – Gold, Open + Bronze medal success in Elite
And I absolutely don't want to forget Jake and Derek.
Jake fought his way through the Round of 16 before going out in the quarter-final, while Derek stepped onto the world stage and gave it everything.
Medals or no medals, all six of you represented your country.
That's something most people will never get the opportunity to do in their lifetime.
Guys, I genuinely can't put into words how proud I am of you all.
You've done yourselves, your families, Blaze Martial Arts and England proud. 🏴
To look back at that magazine article from 2003 and see those words — “To Train a World Champion” — and then see what you've achieved this weekend is quite overwhelming.
One world champion was the dream.
Twenty-three years later… we've got FOUR. ❤️🏆
I'm absolutely buzzing for you all.

What a few days we’ve had 6 Blaze fighters across 12 categories at the WMAC World Championships in Austria

12 hour days, experiencing all the emotions, but united as a team

FOUR WORLD CHAMPIONS

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying that

It’s been an honour to represent our country regardless of results, we all learnt something about ourselves at this event and we’ll take that into our next competitions

Can’t thank Matt Church of Nemesis Martial Arts for his expert insight when cornering a lot of our fights across two days of competition, we couldn’t have done it without you Matt!!!

🥋 BIG CONFIDENCE FOR LITTLE PEOPLE
If you’re looking for Little Ninjas Bracknell classes for a 4, 5 or 6-year-old, this is a brilliant age to start.
At this stage, martial arts isn’t about turning children into serious fighters.
It’s about helping them learn through movement, games, simple techniques and lots of positive encouragement. 😊
Our Little Ninjas classes can help children:
⭐ Build confidence
👂 Improve listening
🤸 Develop balance and coordination
🤝 Make friends
🎯 Learn to follow instructions
⚡ Burn energy positively
🥋 Start learning simple martial arts skills
For some children, it’s their first proper activity outside school or nursery.
That means even small things can feel like big achievements.
Standing in line without Mum or Dad.
Listening to the instructor.
Remembering a simple technique.
Taking turns.
Joining in with the group.
Giving something another go when it didn’t work first time.
Those little wins matter.
Small steps can build big confidence.
