Youth football team based in Upwell, Norfolk. Adult and youth football side based in Upwell, Norfolk. Check the 1st team page for more details.

We always on the lookout for new players so if you have a child who would like to get involved, please do get in touch with us! Likewise if you’re over 16 and looking for a side please get I’m touch. Our adult side includes a great bunch of lads of all ages and we’re in a new league with a new challenge to get our teeth stuck into. From a youth perspective we’re a mixed ability club affiliated with Norfolk FA, currently working with our Junior group who are 3-7 years old. We’re committed to ensure every child has the opportunity to fall in love with football.

We are very proud to share that James Spittlehouse has won the 'Bobby Moore' Award at the Grassroots football award evening.
This recognises James's hard work and commitment to Upwell Town Youth FC, as always a thank you James for being a huge advocate to Youth football. ⚽️

August's volunteer of the month....

Barty!!!!

Barty is an incredibly inclusive, kind and thoughtful coach who is a true role model to everyone around her. She has created such a lovely, positive and welcoming environment for her team, where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to be the best they can be.

When votes came in for Alex, I thought why wait until the end of the month, recognising our volunteers is so important. (We will still do our August volunteer of the month).

Thank you Alex Parnell for everything you do!

Behind every successful football club is someone putting in countless hours that often go unseen. Our Chairman gives his time, energy and commitment both on and off the pitch — from handling the endless work behind the scenes to organising, supporting and helping drive the club forward.
And as if that wasn’t enough, he also takes on the responsibility of coaching a team, giving his knowledge, passion and time to help players develop and enjoy their football.
It’s a huge commitment, often demanding sacrifices away from family, work and personal time. So today, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to our Chairman for everything he does for the club. Your hard work, dedication and passion truly make a difference. ❤️🖤⚽

Our Play Phase is all about giving our youngest players a brilliant first experience of football — and we’d love to welcome some new faces!

Designed for children aged 3–6, including Preschool, Reception and Year 1, our Saturday morning sessions are relaxed, positive and, most importantly, FUN!

There’s no previous football experience needed. Whether they’re already football mad or have never kicked a ball before, they’re welcome to come along and give it a go.

With the summer holidays in full swing we now start to turn our attention to the 2026/2027 season but before we do that we want to shout out and celebrate the efforts made by players and coaches during the off season so far.

The club held its presentation day which brings together every child and coach in the club for a day of fun and recognition for all the hard work across the season. We’ve started our recruitment drive off young helpers which will give our youngsters in the community an opportunity to get involved with football coaching that will give them skills for the future. We’ve entered and competed in over 20 tournaments this summer, all across East Anglia and beyond. We’ve continued throughout the summer with our excellent Play Phase provision on a Saturday morning. We’ve welcomed some great new kids and families into the Upwell family. We’ve secured some great new locations to use for training and matches to ensure that our games and training can go ahead wherever possible during the Winter.
