A sensational night with the Blackhawks family! 🖤💛

Last night’s Awards Night brought us together to celebrate the achievements, commitment and people who have made 2026 a year to remember.

Our master of ceremonies, David Yates, delivered another quality ceremony filled with congratulations, laughter and memorable moments. Chairman Chris Thomson also reflected on the club’s growth, sharing his belief in the people in this club and the bright future we’re building together.

Congratulations to all our award winners, and thank you to our families, supporters and sponsors. Your backing makes so much of what we do possible, and it was a pleasure to share the celebrations with you.

A huge thank you also to our hosts Parkville Hotel Blantyre for helping make it such a fantastic evening!

Proud of our people. Proud of our progress. Excited for what comes next.

Remember and tag us in your posts and pics 👀🔥

Blackhawks. Scotland. Ready. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This weekend, we will see players and coaches from CVB represent Scotland across a double-header of fixtures against the Official Irish Wolfhounds. We’re proud to see such talent and depth from our club represented on the international stage, with each of them ready to play their part 💪🏼

The cream of Scotland’s young talent Scotland American Football kicks things off first at 1pm, setting the stage for a historic afternoon as the first senior Scotland squad Saltire All Stars in 26 years takes to the field at 3pm 🤩

A huge congratulations also to our Center and Club Captain, Chris Thomson, who has also been selected as one of Scotland’s senior squad captains. Leading your country is an exceptional honour, and we’re immensely proud to see Chris entrusted with that responsibility 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

To every Blackhawk involved: you’ve earned your place. Stand tall, back each other and give it everything 🖤💛

Club pride. National colours. Full commitment! 🔥

World Su***de Prevention Day🎗️
10.09.26

Today is about breaking the silence, challenging the stigma, and reminding people that they never have to face their darkest moments alone.

At the Clyde Valley Blackhawks, being a team means more than standing beside one another on the field. It means checking in, noticing when someone isn’t themselves, and creating a community where asking for help is met with compassion - not judgement.

You don’t need the perfect words. A simple message, an honest conversation, or the courage to ask, “Are you thinking about suicide?” could help someone take their first step towards support.

If you think someone is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E.

No one in our community should struggle alone.

Your team is here for you. 🖤💛

Following a successful season built on progress, togetherness and a shared commitment to moving the club forward, we’re proud to confirm that the majority of last year’s committee chose to re-stand and have been voted in once again at our Club AGM (Sunday 6th September).

The continuity within the committee reflects the strong working relationships developed over the past year and a collective belief in the direction the Blackhawks are heading.

We’re also delighted to welcome John Ross as our newest committee member. John joins as Game Day Manager, and we look forward to seeing what he brings to the role as we continue improving the experience around our home fixtures.

Last season gave us plenty to be proud of - but there is still much more to build.

Together again. Ready for what comes next! 💪🏼
