THE RACENIGHT RETURNS ! 🔥🐎

After the success of last season end of the season racenight the club have decided to throw another night to celebrate the season and to raise funds for the 2026/27 season. We are looking for race sponsors, and potentially an event sponsor for the night. Was always going to be a tough test today , going away to a side sitting 2nd in the top division and with 4 last minute call offs we weren’t helped either. The boys that did turn up were all asked to try a changed system and they done everything that was asked of them and worked tirelessly for each other. A few defensive errors mixed with some decisions that went against us led to them being 4-0 up at half time despite us feeling like we pushed them back and had a good few chances of our own.
The second half we continued to play the way we wanted to and created loads of chances we just couldn’t take on the day. They scored another free kick to make it 5 but we did respond when Kai slipped in Michael who finished well. We continued to put pressure on them but ultimately they did manage to work another goal.
Felt the scoreline didn’t reflect the performance today, especially under the conditions and hopefully the boys can carry the positives from the performance into the league and get the league form turned around.
