⚠️Services X1 & X5 - Thursday 22 Oct - DELAYS⚠️
Unfortunately, due to two accidents on the M8, buses on the X1 and X5 are experiencing delays going into and coming out of Glasgow.
All buses are running, but will be late.

We are currently working to try and get buses back on track, but please bear with us.
We apologise for any delays to your journey this evening.

⚠️Service X1 - 16:25 departure from Glasgow - Wednesday 21 Oct⚠️

We are sorry that the 16:25 trip has been cancelled. This was due to a customer becoming unwell on the bus on it's way into Glasgow who needed medical attention.

We have sent another bus and driver to start the service again on time from Hamilton town centre to Hillhouse.

We apologise for the delays to your journey this afternoon.

From tomorrow, Monday 19th October, we will be re-introducing the 230 for residents in Coatshill and parts of Silvertonhill in Hamilton after SPT withdrew the service back in March.

The service will be running every 40-minutes from 9am until approx 2:30pm on Mondays to Fridays.
The timetable is available on the News section of our website, or pick up a paper edition from our friendly drivers.

If you need to get to and from Glasgow Fast, from tomorrow the X5 will now run hourly on Sundays and every 30-minutes on Mondays to Saturdays!
And the fare is only £2 each way!
No parking fuss when you travel by bus!

GOOD NEWS for customers who use Route 41.
After feedback from our last change, we will be making further changes to the early morning and evening timetable on all days of the week from Sunday 18th October.

Buses will also run one hour later into the evening on Mondays to Saturdays, to help people in our local communities travel around.

If you don't already have a PCV licence, not a problem, we can train you!

Current rates of pay are £15 and £16 an hour, including performance bonus.

Due to severe congestion in the Motherwell area, all our buses on Services 5, X5, 41 and 42 are currently experiencing delays.

GOOD NEWS for Newarthill, Carfin and New Stevenston - from Sunday 18th October, we will be making improvements to your Service X5...

Buses will now operate up to every 30-minutes during the day on Mondays to Saturdays, and a new earlier morning and later evening journey will be introduced! We will also launch a NEW Sunday service on the route with buses running hourly during the day.

We would like to thank everyone in the local community who has helped support the new service since it launched back in January. We hope these timetable improvements will be welcomed and help to encourage even more people to use the bus.

Don't forget that you can travel to and from Glasgow for £2 each way, thanks to the Scottish Government fare cap.

The new timetable is shown below. Paper copies will be available from your regular X5 drivers soon.
