This year Benton Hall and The Essex have made it to the final of The Curry Cup👏🏼

🏆The Curry Cup🏆

Initiated in 1999 by Bob and Paul Curry who were the proprietors of Colne Valley Golf Club at the time, The Directors of Colne Valley Golf Club Invite selected clubs to Join in this event. The Curry Cup competition is now a popular and important event in the golfing calendar.

Starting with ten teams in the early years, the competition now has fifteen teams taking part with clubs from Essex and Suffolk. The event is played on a league basis with three leagues being drawn in November. Each club plays two home and two away matches within their group. The winner of each group, plus the highest runner up, goes through to the semi-final knockout stage which are played at neutral venues. The winners of the semi-finals play in the final which is hosted by participating clubs on a rota basis.

🎆 Important Update: Fireworks Night 2026 🎆

Unfortunately, our annual Fireworks Night will not be taking place at the club this year.

We know this is an event that many of our members, guests and local families look forward to each year, and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause.

If you're still hoping to enjoy a fantastic fireworks display this year our sister club; The Essex, will be hosting their own Fireworks Night.
