Throughout the day, weโll be working on improving technique, building confidence, and expanding ballet knowledge.

Our teeny tap dancers have been working so hard on their shuffles and hopscotch! ๐โจ
Shuffles require a lot of balance and coordination, so weโve been using chairs to help build confidence and support correct technique while they develop their strength and stability.
Weโve also been focusing on hopscotch using both legs. Like many little dancers, they naturally prefer their dominant side, so weโve introduced colourful scarves as a visual aid to encourage them to alternate legs and improve their coordination.
So proud of their effort, focus, and determination every week! ๐๐ฏโโ๏ธ
Light & shade is important in dance to add different layers and dynamics to a performance and in tap the highlighted sounds make it much more interesting! ๐ถ
Tap Troupe were choreographing their own combinations this week focusing on this! ๐

Despite the extremely hot weather, every single one of you worked incredibly hard and brought amazing energy throughout the day. We explored choreography in a variety of styles, learned new techniques, challenged ourselves creatively, and developed our own choreography skills.
Thank you for your focus, enthusiasm, and willingness to step outside your comfort zones. It was fantastic to see everyone grow in confidence and performance quality. Keep practising, keep creating, and keep dancing! ๐๐บ๐ฅ
