⭐️ 5-star client review

Sheila started PT because she wanted to get stronger and understood how important strength training becomes as we age.

A few months on, she’s feeling stronger, more motivated and loving how she feels after each session. 💪

If you’re looking for any advice, support or help with your training, or you’re interested in personal training sessions, feel free to drop me a DM.

STRETCH SUNDAY 🧘‍♀️

The standing hamstring stretch is a simple way to work on flexibility through the back of the legs.

It can be useful during pregnancy too, when changes in posture can place different demands on your lower body.

A few tips:
• Keep a slight bend in the standing leg
• Hinge from the hips rather than rounding your back
• Keep the stretch comfortable — no forcing
• Hold for around 20–30 seconds and breathe normally

Remember, stretching should feel like a gentle pull, not pain.

Need some advice with your training or interested in personal training? 💪

Drop me a DM — I’d be more than happy to help! 😊📩

🧘‍♀️STRETCH SUNDAY

Feeling tight through your hips during pregnancy? This half-kneeling hip flexor stretch can be a simple way to work on hip mobility and relieve that feeling of tightness after you have done a workout.
Your body changes throughout pregnancy, so your stretches may feel different from week to week. You don't need to force the range of motion to get the benefit.

🤰 Is pregnancy or postnatal PT right for you?

Whether you’re pregnant, recently had your baby, or you’re simply unsure where to start I can help.

Pregnancy and postnatal training can help you:
💪 Build and maintain strength
🧘‍♀️ Improve mobility and movement
❤️ Feel more confident in your body
👶 Adapt exercise to your changing body and stage
🔄 Gradually rebuild strength after having your baby

Your training should be individualised to you, not a one-size-fits-all programme.

If you’re unsure whether PT is right for you, send me a DM with the word “PT” and I’ll be happy to chat through how I can help. 📩

Pregnancy support bands… what are they used for? 🤰

They’re not magic. They won’t hold your baby in place, they won’t stop pregnancy-related pain, and you definitely don’t need one to keep training.

What they can do is make certain movements — standing, walking, training — feel a bit more comfortable as your bump grows.

If you’re pregnant and wondering how to keep training safely (with or without a band) DM me “PREGNANCY”.

⚠️ Always check with your midwife/OB before starting or changing your exercise routine during pregnancy.

How I adapted hip thrusts as my wife’s pregnancy progressed 🤰

As her bump grew and she entered her third trimester, I adapted the hip trusts into body weight glute bridges. I did this so the weight didn’t hurt her bump but she could still train glutes effectively.

Pregnancy doesn’t mean you have to give up strength training. It often means learning how to adapt your training as your body changes.

And remember, what works comfortably for one person during pregnancy might not work for another.

⭐️ 5 STAR CLIENT REVIEW ⭐️

One year of training. One year of consistency. One year of progress. 💪

It means a lot when a client says they’ve seen improvements not just in their strength and fitness, but also their confidence.

For me, personal training isn’t about giving everyone the same workout.

It’s about understanding your goals, your needs and where you’re starting from, then building training around YOU.

Whether you want to lose weight, get stronger, improve your fitness or simply feel more confident in yourself — let’s work towards it together.

How to adapt Suitcase Squats During Pregnancy 🤰🏋️‍♀️

The suitcase squat can be a great way to keep training your legs and glutes during pregnancy, but as your bump grows, a few adaptations may make it more comfortable.

Try:

➡️ Widening your stance to create more room for your bump
➡️ Turning your toes out slightly to find a more comfortable position
➡️ Reducing your squat depth if your bump or hips feel restricted
➡️ Adjusting the weight as needed
➡️ Using support if your balance changes as pregnancy progresses

The goal isn’t to force the same squat you did before pregnancy. Your body is changing, so your training can change with it. 💪

Keeping strength training in your routine can help you maintain lower-body strength, fitness and confidence throughout pregnancy.

Save this for your next pregnancy leg session!
