This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 💛
If things feel heavy right now, just remember this won’t last forever. Tough times pass, and brighter days do come. Be gentle with yourself and take the time to pour into your own cup… you can’t give from an empty one.
Exercise is a great way to release endorphins and serotonin. Not only that but overtime it will increase self esteem making you feel good about yourself 💪🏽 which is why we think going to the gym is so important for mental health!
At Pirate Fitness, community has always come first. We are big on community and want to give back, because no one should feel like they’re doing this alone.

HACK SQUAT- A machine-based squat where your back is supported and you push weight along a fixed track by bending and straightening your knees.
Why it’s good:
-Targets your quads really effectively
-Safer and more stable than free-weight squats
-Lets you lift heavier with better control
-Puts less strain on your lower back
SINGLE LEG SQUAT STAND- designed to support your back foot during exercises like Bulgarian split squats. It has a padded roller or platform that keeps your rear foot stable and comfortable while your front leg does the work.
