🚨 Studio Update: Grip Product Policy 🚨

To help protect our poles and maintain a safe, clean training environment for everyone, the following grip products are no longer permitted in the studio:

❌ Stickum Spray
❌ Grip It Spray
❌ Monkey Grip

These products can leave residue that is difficult to remove and may affect the experience and safety of other students using the equipment.

Please use alternative grip aids that are studio-approved. If you're unsure whether a product is suitable, just ask one of our instructors before using it.

The Power of Active Recovery πŸ’š

You know what's just as important as your intense aerial sessions? REST.

Active recovery isn't about doing nothing - it's about moving your body in GENTLE, restorative ways.

Why active recovery matters:
🧘 Reduces muscle soreness
🧘 Improves flexibility
🧘 Speeds up recovery
🧘 Prevents injury
🧘 Keeps your mind calm

Easy active recovery ideas:
✨ Gentle yoga or stretching (15-20 mins)
✨ A slow walk in nature
✨ Swimming
✨ Foam rolling tight muscles
✨ Breathing exercises and meditation

This week, schedule at least ONE active recovery session. Your body will thank you. πŸ’œ

Grip Strength 101 πŸ’ͺ

Want to hold longer? Grip stronger.
Your grip is the foundation of EVERYTHING in aerial.

Why grip matters:
πŸ”₯ Prevents slipping and falls
πŸ”₯ Allows you to hold longer
πŸ”₯ Reduces hand fatigue
πŸ”₯ Builds confidence
πŸ”₯ Protects your hands and wrists

Quick grip-building exercises:
✨ Dead hangs (hold a pull-up bar, 10-30 seconds)
✨ Farmer's carries (hold heavy weights, walk)
✨ Squeeze a stress ball or hand gripper
✨ Towel pull-ups (wrap towel around bar, grip and pull)
✨ Wrist curls with light weights

The secret? Consistency. Even 5 minutes of grip work 3x per week makes a HUGE difference.
