Witney Town Bowls Club

What a fantastic turnout for our family fun day today. Over 50 visitors of all ages came down to try bowls on a picture perfect day, and already we’ve signed up some new members. We look forward to getting to know you and sharing our love of this brilliant game!

A great afternoon was had by all taking part in our Australian Pairs competition raising over £300 for the Witney in Pink breast cancer charity. Congratulations to Pauline and Mike J for winning the trophy! Come down to the club on Saturday 13 June from 10-2 for our Family Fun Day - you will be very welcome!

Congratulations to the winners of the Derek Eeles Trophy this year -Fabrizio, Paul and Rosemary! 36 players enjoyed a great afternoon of bowls and a fabulous tea prepared by Lorna, Lucy and Lesley.

Congratulations to Flying Shuttles, winners of Witney Town’s Wednesday Short Mat Triples League, and commiserations to Little Lambs who lost out on shot difference. Thanks to the organisers and everyone who participated!

Our annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 15 November from 10:00-13:00. Stalls, tombola, cake sale and teas - what’s not to like??😁
