What a day! It was SO much fun.

I feel very lucky that I get to spend my weeks dancing, laughing and having the best time with such a brilliant bunch of high vibe people… plus at the party we had some extra lovely faces who came and joined the fun!

A huge thank you to everyone who came, and to everyone who comes along to my classes week after week ❤️

And a massive thank you to The Cricketers 🏏 for looking after us so well in the Garden Room. The staff are amazing - so friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond with our raffle for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice - donating prizes, helping sell tickets and taking charge of calling out the winning numbers! 🙌🏼

We’ll share the final amount raised for Woking Hospice as soon as we know it.

I want to do it all again!!!

Country at Loseley 🤠

I was invited by a couple of the lovely girls from line dance, and as soon as we got there we bumped into more from our class… and then we were like magnets - especially whenever there was line dancing involved 😂

Such a fun day with brilliant people. It’s made me even more buzzy for our classes together and so grateful for the people I get to spend time with each week ❤️

Next stop… group trip to Texas? 😜

**One Community. One Passion. One Future. ❤️**

Over the past few weeks, we’ve watched conversations across the line dance community that have left many people feeling disappointed.

A community built on friendship, encouragement and a shared love of dancing has, at times, become divided by opinions, criticism and personal comments.

Perhaps it’s time to take a step back and remember what brings us together.

The truth is, **the line dance scene is changing.**

It is growing. It is evolving. It is reaching people it has never reached before.

Yes, younger people are discovering line dance, bringing new energy, confidence and ideas. But so are people in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond who are finding line dance for the very first time. Our community isn’t changing because one group is replacing another—it’s changing because **more people are discovering the joy of line dancing.**

That should be celebrated.

At the same time, none of this would be possible without the people who came before us.

For decades, instructors, choreographers, DJs, event organisers, volunteers and thousands of dancers have dedicated their time and passion to building this community. They created clubs, taught beginners, organised events, travelled the country and kept line dance alive through every trend and every challenge.

**They deserve our gratitude. They deserve our respect.**

But respecting our history doesn’t mean fearing our future.

Line dance has never stood still, and it never will.

Traditional. Mainstream. Progressive. Bar-style. Catalan. Soul. Country....

Whichever style makes you smile…
Whichever music gets you onto the floor…
Whichever event you choose to attend…
However you choose to express yourself…

**It is all line dancing.**

There isn’t one “right” way to enjoy this amazing hobby.

There is room for cowboy boots and trainers.
There is room for classic country styling and modern fashion.
There is room for dancers with forty years of experience and those nervously walking into their very first class.

Different doesn’t have to mean divided.

And we should remember that new dancers are watching.

They see the comments, the arguments, the criticism and the way people speak to and about one another. Before many of them ever walk through the door of a class or attend their first event, they are already deciding whether this feels like a community they want to join.

What we say publicly does not only affect the person it is aimed at. It shapes how the whole scene is seen.

We can either show new dancers a community that is divided and judgemental, or one that is welcoming, supportive and proud of its diversity.

The future of line dance will not be built by choosing one style over another. It will be built by respecting our past, embracing our future and welcoming everyone who shares the same passion.

That belief is at the heart of the new **Everything Line Dance** website currently in development.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to create a home for the entire line dance community—not one style, not one generation and not one opinion, but a place where every dancer, instructor, choreographer, DJ, event organiser, venue and club feels represented.

Because when you strip everything else away—every style, every outfit, every playlist and every opinion—we are all here for exactly the same reason.

We love line dancing.

Let’s remember that.

Let’s respect those who built this incredible community.

Let’s welcome those who are discovering it today.

And let’s make sure the people discovering it tomorrow find a community they cannot wait to be part of.

Then to The New Inn where we stumbled upon a country night with H***y Tonk Angels where the line dancing continued!!! Perfect 🤩
