Today’s City, RNTRC and Herts Open long range shoots definitely proved fun, especially on ICFRA targets… full results on shootr.app
Sadly yesterday’s shooting was cancelled due to the storm gusts, but it was great that the NRA allowed shooting today - very challenging wind conditions but sunny and dry.
Well done to Rosanne Furniss for winning 900yds and the City Open, and to birthday boy Nigel Ball for winning the 1000yd shoot.
Thanks to all competitors, and to club captain Pat Hunt for organising. Next year’s open will be 3/4 October - get it in your diaries now!

Congratulations to Michael Cooper on winning this year’s City Open Championship, and the RNTRC open.
Michael won the 900yds on his way to victory with an impressive 399.51v.

Roro's Conscious Coffee is open at the City Rifle Club; delicious barista coffee and cakes - a perfect start whilst walking an empty Stickledown this morning

It’s First Thursday, and set up is well underway! Roro’s Conscious Coffee opens today at the City Rifle Club - with iced and decaf options available as well as yummy cakes and treats they’re prepped for everything the weather and shooting gods might throw at us…

We’re open for lunch today for anyone on camp; come join us in the clubhouse.

Congratulations to Mike Barlow for winning the Open and Closed Championship with 401.57, only 2 VBulls ahead of Pete Holden and Vern Putter; a very close weekend!

The City RC, Royal Navy TRC and Hertfordshire Open will take place on 30th September - 1st October 2023.
We encourage TR and FClass entries, and have a discount for U25s.
The TR aggregates have cash prizes, including for top O/T entrants so it's a great way to win!

Dinner tonight is on 6-7pm in advance of our club dinner later this evening; homemade cottage pie, homemade chicken curry & rice, breaded fish or ham, egg & chips.

Great to see David from Roro’s Conscious Coffee setting up; they’ll be open from tomorrow morning, so come in and join us at the City Rifle Club.
