Ladies Cricket Festival a Hit at Old Woking

Old Woking Cricket Club was buzzing on Sunday as it hosted its first Ladies Softball Cricket Festival, bringing together six local teams for a fun-filled celebration of women’s cricket.

The cricket was only part of the fun, with music playing throughout the day, the bar open for refreshments and the barbecue serving up plenty of food. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere made it a great advert for the fun and inclusive side of ladies’ cricket.

The final standings were:

1st – Valley End
2nd – Old Woking Blues
3rd – Woking & Horsell
4th – Epsom
5th – Ottershaw
6th – Old Woking Yellows

Congratulations to Valley End, and a huge thank you to all the teams, volunteers, supporters and everyone who helped make the inaugural festival such a success.
