Super gutted to be losing Lewis Lewis Herbert who is moving out of the area.

He went from a 3 stripe White Belt to Black Belt with us and just became the most amazing training partner to everyone at the academy.

He would help anyone from the first day White Belt to the Seasoned Vets.

Selfishly I am losing one of my best training partners, someone that in recent times constantly pushed me and improved me - the relationship went both ways. Not only that but he was as safe as a house and will be an amazing addition to any academy lucky enough to get him.

We'll have to do with the monthly or bi-monthly visit.

You will always have a home at Maven mate 🫶

We're super excited to be running our Kids Jiu-Jitsu Camps this summer! 🥋☀️

If you have children aged 7–10 or 11–14 who might enjoy trying something new, we'd love to have them join us.

✅ Suitable for complete beginners – no experience needed.

✅ NoGi only – just a T-shirt and Shorts needed (no uniform required).

✅ 4 hours of Jiu Jitsu, fun games, and a picnic lunch break.
