Well done to the lads today for winning the game great result against 3rd in the league. Taking a 5-0 lead the first half and seeing the game out in the second half only conceding 1. We focus our attention to Thursday night where we play 2nd in the league in the cup quarter finals. Zak Brown continuing his goal scoring streak with another great display up front since joining the club in January this year.

Over the last few weeks, the boys have been working really hard to turn results around. I am truly proud of them for how hard they have been working as we are now 3 games unbeaten.
I can’t thank the lads enough for leaving everything on the pitch and working together to get results. We hope to continue our progress until the end of the season.

The squad for tomorrow’s game (07/01/24). The lads are ready to start the new year and build on the win from before Christmas.
We also welcome onboard our new assistant manager Daniel Attree who will be joining us at low hill lions for what is shaping up to be a good second half of the season.

The lads were full of high spirits for the game yesterday 17/12/2023.
The starting XI was bolstered with three new signing and the quality these lads have added to the squad shows.

The first half got underway and the boys were playing some good football but not great, inviting pressure from Farmers Boys. Big shoutout to MacAulay Clarke , our goalkeeper, for his incredible performance. He swept up all the loose balls and as an added bonus got in some catching practice from some pop shots.
The defence held strong through the first half and it would be after the 30 minute mark before Low Hill took the lead from a corner delivered from Elliot Wilkes (who had a superb game at left wing back) which was poorly dealt with from the opposition defence.
Our vice captain Kian connected first time from the edge of the box to give us the lead. Moments later our new CB made an excellent block but in doing so injured himself leading to Qey dropping into CB from CDM.

The lads went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

After re-grouping at the half, the lads were keen to get some more goals in and it wouldn’t be long before another new signing would capitalise on a keeper error that saw us take a 2-0 lead! The lads kept the football flowing and moving and before we knew it the ball was in the back of the net again to make it 3-0. As the minutes were drawing to a close, the lads kept fighting and within the space of two minutes we saw the score go to 5-0.
After the 5th goal went in, the full time whistle went.
Small shoutout to our new lads for joining and fall into place so quickly with everyone else.
Incredibly proud of all of the lads for their efforts but after much thought the man of the match was awarded to Kian. Kian was key to the midfield, controlling the game and getting the team through the gears.

Our squad list for tomorrows game against Farmers Boys. The lads are looking to carry on building off the second half performance from the previous week where we dominate until the match was called off due to weather conditions. We have a few new signings and we are looking forward to seeing them in action again this week after earning themselves a start from the performance.

With the game called off on Sunday the lads stuck it out in the rain and did a small training session ahead of this weeks game and training on Wednesday night. This weekend (Sunday 19th) will see us return to King George V’s Playing Fields to face whitenluckmanfc in the Bernard Isaac Cup hopefully this time the game will go ahead.
