What a pleasure to share dance as part of our jobs. We love pouring our passion into our students and adore watching our students fall in love with dance as we did growing up.

WORK EXPERIENCE AT SDTA ☑️

Absolutely delighted to have these 2 superstars at the studio this week for thier work experience. Both students did absolutely amazing shadowing Miss Hayley and Miss Lydia teaching this week.
This week consisted of

▪️Adaptive teaching
▪️Health & Safety
▪️Delivering thier own warm up and choreography
▪️Assisting different levels of classes at SDTA

Both Sophie and Mia have grown in confidence throughout the week and have shown endless potential within thier roles this week. We have loved having you in the studio this week.

I opened the studio doors to our students for the first time.
Stayed quiet and took the biggest risk in renovating a studio in the middle of a global pandemic when we weren’t even doing any lessons and …. in a brand new location. Along with this I had to convince my childhood dance teacher to pick up her buisness and come with me too because there was no way I was leaving her behind.

We have seen hundreds of students come through those doors, choreographed 100’s of routines, conducted numerous exam sessions in those walls, created the most amazing memories, new friendships , new opportunities, new skills gained ,the most incredible highs and some lows.

We really have created a home for our amazing dancers and teachers, I wouldn’t want to spend the majority of my time anywhere else.

Here’s to the next 5 years
May it be filled with new opportunities

Sophie
for gaining a place at BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy
When Sophie first came to me she was absolutely set on getting into BOA to study dance. Sophie dances at the studio 3 times a week, and started her 1-1 session weekly working on developing her dance technique, choreography , flexibility , strength, conditioning and improvisation skills ready to smash her upcoming audition.
Her commitment to the sessions has been incredible and she is the biggest proof that if you put the work in and your determined you CAN achieve anything.
She has gained and truly earned her a place at BOA on the highly competitive dance course

Anna currently does our lyrical class and 1-1s with Miss Lydia focusing on general dance technique, flexibility, strength, endurance and choreography in preparation for her audition season.
Anna has an amazing work ethic and her progress has been amazing. Keep up the amazing work
