Shun Poo Kan is a UK Aikido organisation officially recognised by Hombu Dojo Tokyo (Aikido World headquarters). It has been established for nearly 40 years in the teaching of traditional Aikido. Our Instructors have many years experience and work together with our members to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to practice. We aim to teach our members not only a very effective form of se

lf-defence, but also the value of respect, discipline, honour and integrity - sadly missing in much of today's society. These standards have been built upon over the years and we feel very strongly that they are maintained and form an integral part of what it is to practice Aikido in our association. As an organisation, we constantly look to improve and with an increasing membership and dedicated team of Instructors we continue to go from strength to strength
