⛳️ Weekly Course Update ⛳️

Another productive week on the course with plenty of work completed by the greenkeeping team.

✅ Greens reached 10ft following weekend ironing
✅ Fairways continuing to respond well to the improvement programme
✅ Rough shaping progressing to improve definition and presentation
✅ 12mm of rainfall helping maintain healthy growth across the course

With micro-tining, top dressing and ongoing course improvements planned, we’re committed to keeping Penn Golf Club in fantastic condition for all to enjoy.

🏌️‍♀️ Last week, Penn Ladies took on Round 2 of the national Taskers Competition at Trentham Golf Club and came away with a fantastic 4-3 victory! 🎉

Playing away from home in a tough match play format, the team of seven showed great skill, determination and teamwork to secure the win.

A brilliant achievement on an away course and, most importantly, it means our Penn Ladies have progressed to the next round of the competition! 👏⛳

Congratulations to all the players involved, and good luck for the next stage of the journey towards the Semi-Finals and Final! 🏆💚

🏆 Heritage Trophy Winners! 🏆

A fantastic result today as we beat South Staffs to retain the Heritage Trophy! ⛳👏

This annual match celebrates the long-standing connection between the two clubs. Penn Common was originally the home of South Staffordshire Golf Club before it moved to its current site around 1900.

Well played to everyone involved and congratulations to the team on a great victory! 💚🏌️

Congratulations to our very own Lady Captain Angela Hughes and her two playing partners Joyce hunt and Deb Bradley Bloxwich GC who won our 3 Ball Alliance open on Friday with 78 points. Also coming 3rd Lynn Hughes, Sandra Powis and Di Turley with 73 points. Finally Julie Hinde, Ann and Michelle winning the best score on the back 9. Thank you to all those who attended.
