What a great first game of the season for Northamptonshire, visually impaired steel backs away against Yorkshire today, after winning the toss and deciding to bat re-posted, 292 for 2 after just 20 overs, declaring, allowing Yorkshire to try and chase that down in 40 overs,
Despite Yorkshire, trying to bat out for the draw, we were able to win with 24 balls remaining, everybody really contributed to today’s win, whether it was batting, bowling or some fantastic feeling
David Howells Scoring 202, which is a club record high score, whilst also becoming Northamptonshire visually impaired crickets, leading run scorer at only the age of 19
Leo O'Rourke taking his first two ever wickets in which was a great bowling performance, also Siobhan Richardson, taking his first ever catch
I also managed to score 8 runs and take the winning catch, a great weekend. Looking forward to Kent next Sunday
