A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Howling Wolf Gaming table at the Wolverhampton Card Show 👏

It was fantastic to spend the day surrounded by so many passionate collectors, traders and players, and to meet both new and familiar faces from the local trading card game community.

We're already looking forward to seeing many of you again soon, whether that's for Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, trading, or just hanging out at the café.

It was fantastic to see so many members of the local Magic: The Gathering community around the tables, enjoying games, opening packs, and sharing plenty of memorable moments throughout the evening.

Events like these remind us that the best part of Magic isn't just the cards, it's the people you get to play with.

Every Pokémon player has a different philosophy.

Some cards are for collecting.
Some cards are for displaying.

And some cards are meant to be played.

This week at Howling Wolf Gaming, our gaming café in Wolverhampton, we watched a player crack open an 8.5 graded Pokémon card because it belonged in a deck, not a slab 😅

No judgement here that's part of what makes the Pokémon TCG community so much fun. Collectors, traders and players all enjoying the hobby in their own way.

That's life at Howling Wolf Gaming, a tabletop gaming café in Wolverhampton where you'll regularly find Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Warhammer, Dungeons & Dragons, Blood Bowl, Vampire and board games all happening under one roof.

It's a busy place, but it's the community that makes it worth it.

There’s something really fun about a room full of Magic players all discovering a new set at the same time.

That’s exactly what’s happening on 5th June at Howling Wolf Gaming with our Strixhaven: Mystical Archive MTG event.

Expect plenty of games, pack openings, deck discussions, reactions across the tables, and probably at least one person immediately deciding to rebuild a Commander deck before the night’s even over 😅

If you’re part of the Magic: The Gathering community in Wolverhampton, we’d love to see you there.

We're starting to think every Dungeons & Dragons table comes with an unofficial arson specialist.

If you've ever played D&D, Vampire, Warhammer, Magic, Pokémon or tabletop games, you've probably met them too.

We've had the new Twin Suns decks in the shop for approximately five minutes...
..and something has already fallen over. 😅

Probably.

The good news is it wasn't a disturbance in the Force.

We’re starting to think there’s a direct connection between Magic players and caffeine 😅⚡

One Monster later and the energy in the shop changed dramatically.

At this point, the real combo in the gaming café might just be cards, snacks and enough caffeine to power an entire tournament.

That’s pretty much the atmosphere most nights at Howling Wolf Gaming games on the tables, people hanging out, and someone definitely saying “just one more game”.
