Green Gates is a friendly, professional yard based in Wombourne, offering full livery. We have some fantastic facilities and offer many add on services.

A friendly, professionally run livery yard, Green Gates is run by experienced horsewoman Jane Badlan who provides a first class livery service to busy horse owners looking for a five-star standard of care. Being a smaller yard, Jane is able to offer a one-to-one service, meaning that your horse's needs are catered for personally. With years of equestrian knowledge under her belt, Jane is able to o

ffer not only a high level of care, but also the comfort of knowing that your horse is in the best hands possible. Green Gates is a little piece of heaven set in a rural location overlooking rolling fields just on the outskirts of Wombourne village, which is easily accessible from the A449. There are quiet lanes for road hacking and plenty of nearby off-road riding. The paddocks are well maintained and sprayed for ragwort yearly as well as being fertilized yearly. They are also regularly harrowed or poo-picked. Our fantastic facilities include:

-13 acres of all-year turnout in electric-fenced paddocks with a stock fenced perimeter. Size is dependent on individual requirements.

-11 well-ventilated stables with automatic water and rubber matting. The stables are separated into three sections – five are built within the main barn, while the other six are divided into two separate outside blocks of three.

-60mx35m arena with Flexi-ride surface including a variety of jumps and dressage markers

-Large all-weather round pen, suitable for lunging and ground work as well as use as a "Play Pen" if for any reason your horse has to be stabled.

-Summer jumping paddock

-Fully alarmed tack room with tea and coffee making facilities

-Wash box facility is currently under construction ready for the summer shows.

-Personal storage in cabinets and out of season rug storage

-Car parking area

-Lorry/trailer parking (additional cost)

-Well lit under cover area within barn for farrier, vet and clipping etc

We are able to offer additional services upon request such as lunging and exercising, trimming and clipping, plaiting and hunt/show preparation and holding for the vet/farrier/physio etc.

We have a rare livery space coming up shortly at Greengates Livery.

Situated in Wombourne we are a small yard with excellent facilities including an outdoor school, a large selection of jump for joy jumps, a lunge pen, year round turnout, spacious stables and good, quiet hacking.

Part (5 day) or full livery available with packages to suit your needs.

A fond farewell to Caleche, who leaves us today after staying on rehab livery with us since early December.

Caleche was sent to us via vet recommendation after she sustained a nasty eye injury that needed some quite intensive treatment…. Thankfully her eye has been saved and we are pleased to say the treatment was successful and she is free to go home 😊

Due to the sale of one of our livery horses, we will soon have a space for either a full or part livery.

We are a small yard with excellent facilities including

*outdoor school
*a round lunge pen
*a large set of jump for joy showjumps
*individual year round turnout during the day.
*excellent hacking
*yard owner lives adjacent to the yard and has a lifetime of experience with horses

Ideal for competitive riders or happy hacker alike.

Packages can be adjusted to suit your needs, prices start at £120 per week full livery and £100 part livery (Monday to Friday).
