Honoured to have been given the opportunity to teach a small part of the class alongside fellow Sandans Michael Smith and Jake Marklew, and the outstanding Shodan Robyn Phillips.

It’s great to see the UKA supporting the next generation of instructors and giving people the opportunity to step forward, share their practice and develop as teachers.

A real privilege to share the mat, learn from each other and contribute to the practice together. 🥋

A good weekend of training at the UKA Summer School, with congratulations to everyone who successfully completed their gradings.

I’m very pleased to have passed my Sandan (3rd Dan) grading. It is a significant milestone, but ultimately just another step in a much longer journey of sincere practice.

A big thank you to everyone at MK Aikikai, everyone at the UKA, and everyone else I have had the privilege of training with over the years. I’m grateful to all those who have shared the mat, challenged me, taught me and supported my practice along the way.

Congratulations to everyone who graded, and thank you to the grading committee, ukes and everyone who helped make the Summer School possible. Here's to many more MK Aikikai yudansha!
