We appreciate that fireworks can be unsettling for some people and animals, so we wanted to give you advance notice to allow you time to make any arrangements that may help keep pets, livestock and loved ones comfortable and reassured.

Tonight’s staff training was all about preparing for real-life rescue situations. 🛟

Our team took to the water wearing fleece-lined jackets and trousers to experience the challenges of entering the water during the colder months. This ensures every member of staff is confident and capable of carrying out a rescue safely and effectively, whatever the season.

We also completed our monthly spinal rescue training, practising the skills and techniques needed to manage potential spinal injuries in an pool environment.

Regular training helps keep our team rescue-ready and ensures the highest standards of safety for everyone who visits us. 💪🏊‍♂️
