A fabulously unusual wedding cake today... I love it when a couple choose something different for their big day. The tiers are 10", 8" & 6" vanilla, lemon and chocolate sponges I made the paper skirts & attached them to the boards & added a few sprigs of sugar Gypsophila for good measure ... What do you think?... X

Today's cake is 2 tiers of chocolate loveliness for the Christening of the gorgeous little Charles Anthony... All the balls are melted marshmallows & crispiest, covered in ganache & then sugarpaste. Chocolate heaven.... What do you think?

Taken a day off today as it's hubby's birthday, he's 86 going on about 15!! lol... but thought I'd post a cake for you...a red velvet sponge with raspberry preserve & cream cheese frosting, wafer paper leaves & all hand painted into an enchanted forest for a lovely lady's big 40. She loves Disney as do I & her lovely boyfriend who ordered it for her, asked for muted colours but with a few princess's, Winnie the Pooh & a gonk hiding in plain sight! What do you think?

A big cake this week the base is fruitcake, the 2nd lemon sponge, the 3rd fruitcake, the 4th chocolate & the top tier carrot cake. Golden edible stars, clouds & a crescent moon finish the front & "I love you to the moon and back on the back of the cake.. All setup yesterday in the lovely Beonna in Bennington nr Boston. Your thoughts please.. X
