Moonlight Dog Agility Club Club email address: [email protected] We are a friendly training club providing competitive classes as well as fun, non-competitive classes.

Our club caters for dogs aged 7 months and over and for all abilities from beginners upwards. We have a very experienced trainer at the helm - Garry McCormack. Garry has been competing dogs since 1999 and been doing agility since 1996. He is also a Kennel Club approved Agility Judge. He has 3 dogs: Monkstone Moonlight Tango who is 10 years old and now retired but competed at Grade 6, she managed to get to several KC finals! Moonlight Tizer who is 6 and at the highest level Grade 7. Garry has high hopes of getting him to some major finals over the next few years. Finally Lookylooky Moonlight Vimto who is 3 years old and Grade 3. Garry has high hopes for his newest recruit. TRAINING

Beginners monthly group course fee £40 per dog per month. All other group group classes £35 per dog per month. One to one lessons from £15

Morning everyone

With our first 2026/27 show only 4 weeks away i thought I'd just give out another message regarding a few changes and update on micros 🙂🙂

We will be allowing dogs measured at micro to run at our shows from October, this will be a combined class with smalls unless the entries warrant them being split, please write micro in appropriate box on entry form.

Anysize/veterans steeplechase will be 2 runs over same course, awards will be given for the best run but points will be given for both runs.

Im adding a Anysize Agility, this will not be in the series unless we have an average of 10 or more dogs entering at each show.

These 2 classes will run after the large/Intermediate and before the Small/Mediums.

Points for winter series will only be taken from 3 classes, you can nominate which 3, ie 2 X agility and 1 X steeplechase or 1 X agility and 2 X steeplechase. Your obviously welcome to enter all 4 classes.

You can enter as many individual runs as you wish but these can only be done at the show and will be CRO only.

Sorry its me again 😃😃 I've been asked a few times whether we are doing singular runs at our winter series, yes we are but please enter these on the day, these will be CRO and not count towards the end of year series points.

Sorry another update on our shows, only 3 classes count for the series, you can nominate either 2 X agility and 1 x steeplechase or 2 steeplechase and 1 x agility, please make it clear on form. Your more than welcome to enter all 4 classes 🙂🙂

Morning everyone
I can't believe it's only just over 6 weeks until our first 2026/27 winter series begins 😃😃😃 there's a couple of changes I've had to make, these are not updated on the schedule or entry form, these are .....

Anysize jumping will be 2 runs over the same course and best run will count, this class will now be anysize/veterans and there will be a series winner for this class, both runs in this class will gain points.

We will also be doing anysize Agility, this also will be 2 runs over the same course and best run will count, this will not be in the series.

Both of these classes will start after the large/Intermediate and before the Small/Mediums

If you would like to do the anysize Agility, please just make a note of this on the entry form.

We are going to be having a fun day at our club on Sunday 28th June, everyone is welcome, you don't need to be a club members, you can run at a lower height, train in the ring, use food, we really don't mind as long as you have fun. we will be doing ....

Morning all
We are going to have a fun day on the 30th May, it's going to be held at the seven stars pub, East Burton Road, Wool. Everyone welcome, club members and non club members. We will be doing a minimum of 6 runs.

2 X steeplechase
2 X tunnelers
2 X Stick or Twist

Maybe pairs

You can come and train, try to win a rosette/prize but most of all have fun with your dog.

Morning all
What a lovely day to end our last series of the season, A big thank you to our two amazing judges Anthony Bray and Barbara Frost and Gay Horsey who scrimed all day for us, also as always my amazing Moonlighters who worked their socks off again all day. Also I'd like to thank everyone who has come and supported us throughout the series and given us some lovely feedback which is so welcomed, already looking forward to our next series.
