Haidong Gumdo® is an elegant and powerful Korean sword martial art. The syllabus is structured and designed to gradually develop the practitioner's skills and ability with the sword, one step at a time, from total novice through to black belt. Haidong Gumdo® training can help with everyday social interaction by increasing students confidence, self-awareness and respect to one another. A true family martial art that can be practiced and enjoyed by members of the entire family!

Rhodri was presented with his Dobok this week at Baek Ho Dojang, and we have to all agree he certainly looked the part!

Anyone wanting to come and try something new, come and try Haidong Gumdo!
On Wednesday we had a grading at Baek Ho, results will be posted soon but it is worth saying that everyone worked hard!

Last night, and also last Wednesday I had the pleasure of teaching at Cheong Yong Dojang in Leicester!
I would like to say a huge Kamsahamnida to the students who made me feel most welcome, (sorry I forgot a photo from last week) thanks to Verity, Cassie, Hayden, Shevali, Jay, Darren, Laura and not forgetting SBN Ben!
Also, a huge Kamsahamnida to the students from Baek Ho and to CKJN Harry Limer for their support and understanding in helping keeping Baek Ho classes going whilst I could help Cheong Yong keep their classes going too! The UKHGA family at its best!

A highly successful weekend of training for the United Kingdom Haidong Gumdo Association, with UK Headmaster Harry and UKHGA Secretary SBN Dean training under Chul Kyung Lee, EUHGA Technical Director.
It was great to come together with masters from across Europe — Fabio 🇮🇹, Martin 🇨🇿, Gonçalo 🇵🇹, Franck 🇫🇷 and Julien 🇫🇷 — alongside all other dojang instructors, aligning standards, sharing knowledge, and strengthening Haidong Gumdo across Europe. ⚔️👊
