My favourite kind of mornings. A plod on my pony makes me feel recharged!

Before I go and buy everything new, I thought I’d ask on here first to see if anyone has anything they’re looking to sell 😊

Looking for:
• Show jacket – age 3–4
• Jodhpurs – age 3–4
• jodhpur boots – children’s size 8/9

All for one pony mad almost 3 year old 🥰

I love this trend, so here’s my little take on it 🤍

A few things I’m quietly quite proud of, actually.

Long time, no speak! 👋

I thought I’d pop on here with a little update, as it’s been a busy few weeks.

Last week I had the pleasure of teaching at Ludlow Pony Club Junior Camp, and I had such a fantastic few days. Watching young riders grow in confidence over the course of camp is one of my favourite parts of coaching.

These two photos made me smile…

The photo below is my mum teaching at Junior Camp many, many years ago, and the photo above is me with my group this year. The older I get, the more I realise I’m slowly turning into my mum… and I really don’t mind that at all.

She had such a passion for horses, teaching and encouraging young riders, and I hope I’m making her proud by following in her footsteps. ❤️

I know I’ve been a little quieter on here recently. Between the hot weather, Pony Club camps, coaching, and trying to juggle life with Penelope, social media has taken a bit of a back seat!

I’ll hopefully be running a few more clinics once the weather cools down a little, but in the meantime I’m still taking bookings for private lessons, so if you’d like to book in, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Finally, thank you to everyone who continues to support my little coaching business. Every lesson booked, recommendation and share really does make a difference, and I’m so grateful that I get to do a job I genuinely love. 🤍🐴

Fun exercise with Luna this evening ❤️ I didn’t have time to keep changing the exercise as my coach (my daughter, Penelope 🤣) needed to go to bed 😅 This was great for Luna’s brain

If I want to get back into the showjumping ring, I need to actually jump my horse… 🫣🐴

As a coach, I’m always encouraging my riders to trust the process, focus on the basics and celebrate the small wins. Sometimes it’s important to take your own advice.

Today Luna and I popped over some small cross poles. Nothing fancy, but it’s a start.

As you can see, there is plenty for me to work on. My position isn’t where I want it to be, Luna and I are both a little rusty, and there are definitely things I’d like to improve. But I think it’s important to share the less glamorous parts of the journey too, not just the polished end result.

Progress doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up consistently, analysing what went well, identifying what needs work, and trying again.

I’ll be documenting the process as we go, sharing regular updates, and posting some of the exercises I’m using to improve both Luna and my riding. Feel free to give them a go yourself.

Here’s to getting back in the ring again ✨🤍

🐴🧠 Your brain doesn’t know the difference between a tiger and a spook.

When confidence takes a knock, it’s easy to feel frustrated with yourself. But often, your brain is simply doing exactly what it’s designed to do — trying to keep you safe.

Understanding why we react the way we do is often the first step towards rebuilding confidence in the saddle.

As a coach, I work with riders of all ages and abilities, including nervous riders, returning riders and those looking to rebuild confidence after setbacks. My aim is always to create a supportive environment where both horse and rider can learn and progress at their own pace.

📍Based around Leominster, Ludlow, Tenbury Wells and surrounding areas.
🚗 Happy to travel further for multiple lessons.

☀️ CLINIC UPDATE ☀️

After checking several different weather forecasts for tomorrow, temperatures are still expected to be in the late 20s throughout the day.

As the arena is very open and unsheltered, I’m conscious that it may simply be too hot for both ponies and riders to comfortably and safely enjoy the clinic — particularly for younger riders and travelling ponies.

I’ve therefore made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s clinic and will rearrange it as soon as possible once temperatures are cooler.

Thank you all so much for understanding 🤍🐴
