Sun Salutation A modified - if you can do a Chaturanga Dandasana on toes but don't have the strength to push back up into Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog) yet - it took me months to go from knees to this and more months to be able to do a proper transition so take your time! 😊 as long as you're doing this right, you will gain strength every time you do a Sun Salutation...
On Thursdays I teach Ashtanga in Perdiswell - we modify according to who is in class, but we try and grow along the 1/2 Primary series - Ashtanga can be intimidating but it really is for everyone.
What I can't guarantee: that you will be able to do everything, I am still learning some transitions after 25 years of yoga...
What I can guarantee: you will get (a lot) stronger and more flexible if you attend regularly.
Most of all, it is a fun class because some poses are quite tricky and we have a good laugh trying.
I will be posting some modifications and the full poses in the next few weeks so you get an idea of what it is about - day 1 is a Sun Salutation A (we always open with 3), modified for beginners who may not have the strength or flexibility yet (which is totally OK! you have to start somewhere)

All classes in WR1 area of Worcester - I favour prepaid classes so I can better focus on your progress.
