Hi Fishing people, another quick update on the dates we will be closing for this season this year.
Due to the fact we have had to close several times in the last few weeks and to try and make it up for you we will close at the end of the day of Sunday 6th September 2026.

Hi fishing people, an update on the temporary closure of Eastfield Fisheries, due to the continuing extreme hot weather we will remain closed until Saturday morning.

Hi ya fishing people Melvyn Rowberry Eastfield Fisheries. I’m sorry to inform you that due to the extreme weather conditions and the welfare of our fish we will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 12th August and Thursday 13th August 2026

Hi fishing people, Eastfield fisheries here.
A quick update on the open/closed situation.
The weather forecast indicates more hot weather to come and that could go on indefinitely

So I’m going to re-open at 7.30 in the morning that’s Wednesday 15th July 2026 and monitor the weather and fish, if it gets any hotter or if they show signs of distress (the fish not the people) I’ll consider closing again.
Sorry to cause inconvenience but I’m sure you will all agree that the welfare of the fish must come first.

Hi fishing people today Thursday 9th July, due to the continuing hot weather Eastfield fisheries will remain closed probably until next Wednesday 15th.

Another hot day and a forecast of being hot for the next week at least so for the welfare of the fish and to allow you to make alternative arrangements… that’s assuming you were coming to Eastfield Fisheries I’m continuing to keep my venue closed.

Due to the current high temperatures I’m going to close this afternoon Monday 6th July at 2pm after the fishermen here leave, and remain closed for tomorrow 7th July 2026, I will reassess the weather and temperatures tomorrow afternoon.
