Good win today girls beating a resilient Halas Hawkes on penalties. Alot going against us today but kept our heads and rose to the challenge.

Worcester United U16s have an exciting opportunity for a couple of experienced footballers to join our squad as we prepare for a new season in the Central Warwickshire Girls football league.
We train twice a week and play our matches on a Saturday morning.

This Saturday we were on our travels to Halas Hawkes. We knew it was going to be a tough game after playing them at home recently. The girls started slowly not being able to get a foothold into the game with the girls in midfield not being allowed to play our passing game to a bobbly pitch. Just before half time Lexi broke through and on her second attempt she put the ball into the back of the net. The girls had a great chat at half time realising how they could improve. It wasnt long into the second half Lexi scored her second a great individual goal taking it past two defenders before firing home. The second goal really made the girls relax and take control of the match.Lexis hat trick came from the spot after Izzy was taken down in the box. The match was capped off with Lexis 4 goal to finalise a good performance which showed great resiliance.
Well done to Halas Hawkes for always showing a threat up front. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Good 2-0 win today in a friendly against Bewdley Town played the whole match with 10 players. Played some great football and controlled the game from the back.
