Lovely to be open for new clients on a beautiful Saturday morning. I love meeting new clients and getting to know their Whys! Why do they want to train, why is fitness important to them, why do they want to achieve their fitness goals. The more I can understand about you and why you want to train, the better I can design a programme for you, making sure the experience and the outcomes you achieve are specific to you and your needs and goals.

I’ve wanted to get better at my pull ups since forever! As a Faster personal trainer I am able to break down the sequence of a movement and identify the motor skills required to develop the skills required to carry out a movement.
Having figured out the series of movements that need to be acquired , I can then develop clusters of movements that can help develop the skill. This makes the process more fun and teaches the brain to adapt to the new movement. In this case I’m using a row on a suspension trainer with squats as part of a group of exercises to develop my pull ups.
What’s the fitness skill you’ve been wanting to achieve, deep squats, pull ups, pistol squats? Why don’t you work with me to help you achieve those new skills.

Awesome client feedback this week “since I’ve been seeing you I can keep up with my running group better and can run further and faster without getting out of breath”.

Now the clocks have changed it’s great to get outdoors for some training. Exercising regularly can help maintain muscle and bone health, reduce risk of chronic disease, alleviate persistent conditions like chronic pain or arthritis, helps with sleep and improve mental health. Getting outdoors also allow us to get some valuable vitamin D too!
Take the time to go outdoors and get some air whilst you move this week.

Great sessions today with awesome clients. One client wasn’t ‘feeling it’ as she arrived having had a difficult week so we threw in some cathartic medicine ball slams to get rid of that pent up frustration. 😡 If you want to work with a trainer who’ll spend the time to get to know you, who wants to understand what makes you tick and just wants to make movement fun drop me a note. 🤩.

Hi all, happy . 2 years ago on IWD I remember sitting on yet another MS Teams call in my corporate job, the only woman there surrounded by men talking about football (the story of my corporate life) and bristling with suppressed frustration. 2 years later I’ve changed a lot about my life and I’m a whole lot happier, working with clients who are excited for change and enjoying movement in lots of different ways. I love working with people to help them find their love of movement again, we all had it at some point in their lives!!
So if today frustrates the hell out of you with the platitudes and empty promises in the corporate world, grab a medicine ball and give it a few slams on the floor!!! If you want to start working on longer term change in your life a good first step to that would be embracing movement and adding things to life we do enjoy. If that sounds like you get in touch.

I love trying lots of new ways to exercise- it keeps it fun and exciting! Boxing is one of my favourites, as it is a unique and different way of raising your heart rate, releasing endorphins and relieving stress from the day 🤣

The reason why I love my job is that I love injecting in people a love of movement. Thanks to my ongoing education with I know there are almost infinite ways to develop programmes and exercises to help target muscles and learn new skills in movement. What does this mean for my clients? It means that I can tailor my programme to you personally, your goals, your current aspirations and your current level of skill in a movement. Most of all I can tailor my programming to make movement fun. If we can make movement fun you’ll want to keep doing it meaning you’ll be adding quality to your life both for now and in the future. What’s the motto - find a movement you enjoy and keep doing it.
