We had a great day competing at the Worcester Dance Festival - thanks to Tony and Christine Hunnisett and all the officials and adjudicators for an excellent competition. Our results were as follows;
Ballroom;
U21: 1st
U35 Pre-champ: 1st
Open Foxtrot: 1st
Open Viennese Waltz: 1st
Latin;
U21: 1st
U35 Pre-champ: 1st
Open Rumba: 1st

A great day at Champions of Tomorrow here at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. After reaching the semi final in U21 Ballroom, we finished 2nd in a very strong U35 Pre-Amateur Latin competition. Big thanks to all our teachers, family and friends who supported us, and to the organisers and promoters for a brilliant competition.

We’re so happy to have reached 3 finals in Latin as well as our 3 earlier placings in Ballroom;
5th in Open Rumba
4th in U21
3rd in U35 Pre-championship
Thanks to the organisers TMF Dance for a superb competition in a great location, and of course our teachers and our families for all their support 😁

We’ve had a great day at our first International Championships. It was by far the toughest competition we’ve taken part in, with many of the best dancers from all around the world. But we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and have learnt a lot from watching such top quality amateur and professional dancers and competing alongside them. Thanks as always to the organisers and promoters for a superbly run competition, and to our teachers and families for their unswerving support!

We’re exhausted after a couple of amazing days down here at the Bournemouth Summer Festival!!
To recap our results;
UK Amateur 10-dance Championship: we reached 9 out of 10 semi-finals, which should place us somewhere in the top 12
Bournemouth Masters U35 Pre-Championship;
Ballroom - 1st
Latin - 2nd
UK U21 Ballroom Championship: Semi-finalists
We’re very proud of our achievements as we reach the end of our first year as youth/adult competitors, but we couldn’t have come this far without the hard work, dedication and guidance from our lovely teachers, David, Andrea, Oliver and Evie, and the love and support (and cars) of our families!
We feel we have grown as dancers over these few days in amongst such great competitors, and we hope we can develop further with lots of hard work and dedication.
Now to the beach for a while before we head home!!

We were really pleased to follow up our 1st place in Pre-championship Ballroom with 3rd place in the Pre-champ Latin. Now for a couple of hours rest before the UK U21 Ballroom later tonight 😀
