Powerful tandem, Asai Sensei and Kato sensei (source SKM issue 44, 1995)
For our late Chief Instructor Kato Shihan, it mattered not where you trained but that you trained. For Sensei the most important thing for Shotokan karate was the basic technique and the heart with which you practice.
Worcester Shotokan Karate Club are using the current time of social distancing to continue with Sensei's ethos perfecting our Kihon (Basics).
One day we will meet again Sensei and you will see how far we have progressed.
