WRS international woman’s day…
Those that have visited or have anything to do with WRS will not need telling that we do not need a day to celebrate the ladies on the yard.
We make sure and support those at WRS to own every day. To make every day a day to learn and grow. A day that if mistakes are made, we pick ourselves up and learn from them.
We inspire those ladies to go and get exactly what they want, to reach for their goals and aspirations.
We give those ladies the tools to believe in themselves and that anything is possible, they are only limited my their own imagination.
We make them believe that they will get it in the end…if they don’t, then it’s not the end….
Every day is our day at WRS…

WRS excellent dressage adventures….
What a busy week we had last week. With both Bussell and Seany qualified for the British Dressage Petplan area championships, we were off to Solihul on Thursday and Friday.
I’m very busy at the moment taking every opportunity and invite to go out with hounds, some would say and I would agree, that my position has somewhat been effected by the need to stay on board when out with hounds.
When your trainer says ‘go down that centre line and wow them’…..I rode that centre line like I would a Manor Farm hedge!! Apparently that wasn’t what the three different judges were looking for!!!
Katie and Seany had a lovely day on Friday, warming up beautifully in the big indoor warm up area. When going into the indoor competition arena, Seany was very insistent that monsters had been put in all the flower pots!!
We had two lovely days out with our lovely horses and have come away with some training areas…..I think I’ll wait until the hunting season finishes to work on my position, pace and training!!!

Every day is a learning day!
Training and studying over the past 12 months through the British Carriage Association, I am so proud to say I passed the end assessment last month and I am now a qualified Carriage Driving Coach.
I met some lovely people on the course, with the majority from the carriage driving trials world, it was fascinated learning all about their world.
Being from the other side of driving, and practising the dark art of Private Driving! I saw it as a fantastic opportunity to dispel the myth that Private Driving is more than about the *Hat!
It’s not been an easy year with loosing mum and dad, I know both of them would be so proud of me. I started driving with my Dad when I was barely 5 years old! It was with Mums support that I enrolled on the course, so not completing the course was never an option!
So….thats it for now!! Qualified to coach in three equine disciplines,
Riding - flatwork/jumping
Racing coach (riding)
Carriage driving
I will be putting together various carriage driving programmes on the website in the next few weeks.
A few photos of me driving over the years and my shiny new certificate
