Workington Diamonds U14 Girls

A great bunch of lasses, stuck at it all season, we've had ups and downs, every single player has given everything for the shirt. ♦️

In our final game of the season we came up against Bransty Rangers U14s, at Copeland Athletics Stadium. The girls gave absolutely everything in a very physical and tiring game, coming out 2 - 1 winners, this secured us a 7th place finish.

In our penultimate match of the season we came up against Workington Town Lynx U14s, at Lakes College, our 8 players performed heroics all over the park against the 9 of Lynx, and the lasses got a well deserved result

Today we played Cleator Moor Celtic U13s away. We set our stall out from the first moment and really dominated throughout. This was especially awesome, due to us only having 8 players! With 2 goals in each half, we ran out with a four nil victory.

Today we took on Whitehaven Yellows U14s, at Lakes College, in very windy conditions the lasses settled into the game and played some really good football, dominating the majority of game.
